Ray Hamilton Company was founded in 1892 as Frank Hamilton Storage by owners Andy Black and Jim Wyenandt’s great-great-grandfather, Frank Hamilton, who had a single-horse drawn cart and small warehouse on 4th Street in downtown Cincinnati.
Frank’s son, Ray Hamilton, Sr., worked alongside his father and eventually took over the business until 1965, when Ray Hamilton, Jr. assumed control. Ray, Jr. expanded the warehousing business into commercial moving and was responsible for establishing the company as Cincinnati’s “premier office moving company.”
Ray Hamilton Company has grown beyond commercial moving and warehousing and into a nationwide asset-backed specialized transportation & logistics provider.
Handling all of your commercial and industrial needs for brokerage transportation, business and office moving, warehousing, storage, and installation is our specialty at Ray Hamilton Company. Our team is uniquely qualified to assist you with internal moves, furniture installation, custom crating, office design and moving, and more. We take pride in our dedicated leadership, experienced personnel, quality equipment, and the proper insurance to protect our customers’ assets. We are an asset-based employee commercial entity, while much of our competition’s work is contractor-based. We own our trucks for the liftgate side of the business, and we carry higher insurance than most others with the large size of our operations. All of our employees are background checked.
